National Robot Safety Conference 2017 presenter

Our Engineering Services Manager, Mike DeRosier will be making a presentation at this year's National Robot Safety Conference in Pittsburg, PA.

The Robotic Industries Association will be presenting their annual conference on robot safety October 10th through 12th  at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburg, PA. 
Our Engineering Services Manager, Mike DeRosier will be making a presentation as part of the Robot System Safety for EHS Professionals Breakout on Thursday, October 12th. His presentation will be from 10:00AM - 11:30AM on the topic “Traditional Robot Safety for the EHS Professional”. 
Mike is a TUV certified Functional Safety Engineer for Machinery. His 20+ years of experience include controls engineering to design, build and integrate full machine control systems. His safety experience lead him to help corporations to develop Corporate Safety Standards, perform machine safeguarding risk assessments, machine safety training and design, as well as implementation of safety systems for all aspects of machinery (electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical). RIA's annual National Robot Safety Conference is a three day conference which includes presentations and workshops on robot safety, machine and robot standards, successful robot applications, the latest developments and important information - A must for everyone associated with industrial safety and striving for a safe and productive workplace. Numerous new sessions will satisfy experienced users and those new to safety will benefit from a wide variety of topics, including introductory sessions and standards’ updates.
