We are pleased to announce the launch of new production capabilities at our Indianapolis warehouse and operations facility. Beginning January 5, the site has expanded its scope to include in-house assembly of the N Series pushbutton product line and newly achieved UL certification for wire harness assembly.
These enhancements mark an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to increasing manufacturing agility, improving lead times, and delivering higher value solutions to customers across North America.
“Bringing these capabilities into our Indianapolis facility allows us to better support our customers’ needs with faster turnaround, expanded customization, while maintaining high the level of quality they expect from Schmersal,” said Gary Ferguson, Managing Director. “This investment signifies our commitment to U.S.-based production as well as expanding our US footprint.”
The new N‑Series assembly capability enables the Indianapolis team to build, test, and fulfill a wide range of configurations directly from the warehouse, reducing dependence on external production schedules and significantly shortening delivery times.
Additionally, the facility’s new UL certification for wire harness assembly ensures all harness production meets rigorous safety and compliance standards. This certification expands the company’s ability to support OEMs, panel builders, and integrators with reliable, compliant wiring solutions designed to meet industry demands.
